REFRESH FOr a distinctly new audience
Distinct, a platform that highlights and promotes upcoming fine artists, designers, and performers, required a refresh after almost a decade of its establishment to cater to a new audience. The overall brand look needed an update to appeal to a younger demographic. To stay true to the brand's message of "inspiring the culturally curious," we created an experimental mark using simple shapes. It had to be bold and dynamic, just like the artists in the archive and the ones it aims to inspire, while still being readable.
With the launch of Distinct 2.0, the platform will mainly serve as an archive. Therefore, we had to revamp the UX/UI to cater to this function. The new design includes a vibrant color palette and minimalist navigation.
